Malvern Star is the Official Bicycle Partner of the 2010 UCI Road World Championships. We are proud to support the biggest event in Australian cycling history coming to Melbourne and Geelong this year. The 77th UCI Road World Championships will be held 29th of September to 3rd of October 2010

Genesys Wealth Advisers Cycling Team

The Australian based road cycling team formed in 2000 and boast a successful past with 15 national wins including the Tour of Tasmania, the Pengana Goulburn to Citi and winners of the National Team Series. Formerly Praties Cycling, the Gensys team ride the Malvern Star Oppy C7, we look forward to working with the riders on continued product development across our road and time trial bicycle ranges.

Phil Anderson - Malvern Star Ambassador

The legendary Phil Anderson OAM was the first Australian (and non-European) to win the prestigious yellow jersey in the Tour de France. Anderson won gold in the 1978 Commonwealth games sparking the start of his pro career, he joined the intensely competitive professional European road circuit and ultimately went on to win the yellow jersey 11 times and rose to number one in the world. Phil Anderson continues to work with the Malvern Star product development team to develop the Malvern Star Legend range. Phil Anderson rides a Malvern Star C7.

Madeleine Oldfield - Malvern Star Sponsored Rider

Oldfield has had success in a number of triathlon events including the renowned Gatorade Triathlon Series and Australian Triathlon Championships. Awarded 1st Elite Female in a number of legs of the 2007/08 and 2008/09 Gatorade Triathlon, Oldfield is leading the series points for this year’s Gatorade Triathlon on her Malvern Star Oppy C7. Keep up the good work Madeleine you legend!

The Cycling Promotion Fund is a leading advocate for and source of information and advice on cycling. They help lift the profile of riding, lobby government for investment in riding, Promote and encourage initiatives which achieve increases in cycling and promote the benefits of riding.

Amy Gillett Foundation

Malvern Star is pleased to be associated with the Amy Gillett Foundation in promoting safe and responsible riding. The Amy Gillett Foundation's primary objective is to reduce the incidence of injury and death caused by the interaction between cyclists and motorists. In doing so, they hope to promote a safe and harmonious relationship of shared respect between the two groups. They seek to highlight the importance of being responsible every time we head out on the road whether we're on two wheels or in four.

Sanitarium Weet-bix Kids TRYathlon Series

Malvern Star and Rosebank are proud supporters and major sponsors of the 2008-2010 Sanitarium Weet-bix Kids TRYathlon. This multi-sports event, held nationwide in 7 Australian cities, attracts more than 16,000 child participants each year and aims to be part of every Australian child's journey to an active healthy life. Malvern Star and Rosebank will contribute prizes to participants, as well as an activity booth and a bicycle safety checkpoint at each event.

Fruit Loop Bike Ride

Proudly Sponsored by Malvern Star with proceeds going to the Goulburn Valley Hospice Care who supply free, compassionate care to the terminally ill and their families. The legendary rider Phil Anderson joined the 2009 ride in Shepparton Victoria and over $30,000 was raised at the event. Participants cycle either the 50km, 100km or 200km circuit.
